Before and during the event, both teams and individuals have the opportunity to raise funds for the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi, helping provide ongoing support and advocacy for those living with diabetes in the state. Participants, including family, friends, and supporters, can join in a 3-mile or 1-mile walk, enjoy delicious food, explore local vendors, and show their support for loved ones affected by diabetes. All funds raised through walk teams, individuals, and on the day of the event will directly support the DFM’s key programs, including We Care 2, Patient Assistance, Diabetes on Call, Patient Super Conference, and Camp Kandu.
Every form of participation in this event will directly support the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi's mission to provide life-saving resources and assistance to those living with diabetes in the state. Most importantly, every dollar raised will remain in Mississippi, ensuring that local individuals and families receive the help they need.
