Before and during this event, teams and individuals have the chance to raise funds for the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi, enabling them to provide ongoing support and advocacy for individuals living with diabetes in the state. Family, friends, and supporters can take part in a 3-mile or 1-mile walk, indulge in tasty food, explore local vendors, and support their loved ones living with diabetes.
All funds raised through walk teams and/or individuals, and any money raised on the day of the walk will directly contribute to the DFM’s various programs (such as We Care 2, Patient Assistance, Diabetes on Call, Patient Super Conference, and Camp Kandu.
Any and all participation in this event will directly help the DFM’s efforts to bring life-saving support and supplies to those in Mississippi living with diabetes. Most importantly, every dollar from this event will STAY in the state of Mississippi. This is truly a life-saving event!
